Lovable GitHub Integration: Connect & Two-Way Sync

Connecting GitHub gives you a backup of every change, lets developers work in their own editor, and keeps everything in sync with Lovable.

Connect GitHub

  1. A workspace owner or admin opens Workspace settings → Git → GitHub → Add connection.
  2. In GitHub, choose the account or organisation, pick All repositories or Only select repositories, then click Install & Authorize.
  3. Open Project settings → Git → GitHub and click Connect next to that connection.
  4. Lovable creates a new private repository and starts syncing. You can also reach it from the + menu next to the chat, under Project → GitHub.
